Marian Claydon

Went to the Marian Claydon exhibition at the fashion and textiles museum in London. Little known gem of a Museum, it costs £9 entry and is absolutley tiny. Marian Claydon was a designer who shot to fame with her cool silk tye die prints in the 1960s and 70s, she died in 2015 so the exhibition was held in retrospect to celebrate her work. The silks were beautiful, artworks in their own rights and vibrant. The dresses were glamorous and recalled historical fashion and 1920s flapper dresses as well as being of their time and bohemian. I urge you to go and discover the museum for yourself!
