Quick review of Makeup Revolution salvation velvet laqueur. I bought Velvet Depravity in search of something a bit edgy. The consistency is a bit 'tar' like. Goes on glossy but quickly dries matte. It takes two coats to get decent pigmentation,otherwise it is a bit sheer. It lasted well throughout the day, and because of the matte texture does not need a top up. Two gripes - firstly that my lips felt a bit sticky. Secondly, due to its staying power, it is a bit of a pain to remove. Visually it is very striking and I feel it gives me extra confidence as it is so 'out there'. At £3 it is definitely a bargain and I will definitely be buying some of the other shades in the range. Overall, for value for money I would give it a 10/10 and quality wise I would give it a good six, because of the stickiness although this does not last long.
